Video of T50

Check it out:

» Multitouch Teclast T50 PMP - PMP Today

When can we expect a review from Daharder of this player?

Looks good I must say but the reviewer is a bit too fast claiming the player has great quality audio. The Teclast players i have tried so far didnt live up to -for example- the Meizu m6 by far...

I got this player a month ago and its much better then the Meizu M6. I got an 8GB Cyc-V49 from Cycotechusa when they came to my school. I also have a Ipod Nano G3 4GB, Creative Zen 16GB, Meizu M6 SL and some others and this is the best player I have seen for under $200. Read my sexy ass review on mp4nation or go to CyCo Tech USA Home of great digital products. MP4nation will have the T50 soon but I just found the Cycotechusa Cyc-v49 version that I have on Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more[/url] so I may be ordering another for my brother today.

OK MisSexyMP4girl, you have posted the same thing on other MP4 forums...also with links to Cyco Tech. Can we assume you work for Cyco Tech?

Saying the T50 is better than Meizu's M6 is a pretty bold statement about a much-loved, much-discussed, much-analyzed player...one of China's most popular players. Can you offer some technical reasons or listening impressions why it's better? Your "sexy ass review" pretty much says you can get drunk and listen to it for a long time and it fits in your designer bag. The M6 also has "great sound" and FLAC files are also "loud"...they should be, they're FLAC after all.

Teclast has several other Rockchip+WM8987 players. Newman makes one (or two??). Oppo has the V9 and their S5 uses it along with an ADI Blackfin. SmartQ and Meizu also use it chip with different hardware. Would be interesting to put them all to the test to see who can get the most out of the chip.

you dont have sex alot do you boo? No i dont work for cyco tech I work for OLD NAVY what else do you need to no how much i get paid per hour!

I never heared of teclast until i was sent to mp4 nation and made that post and i never heared of cyco until they came to my school. after i found out about teclast i started looking for the player online to get another. I think this is a very good player all the people that got one at my school love it so i'm just stating my opinion about it. I have another opinion i look very good in my "I'am not a virgin t-shirt". Oh by the way mista you were talking about my links if i had other links i would post them but i dont!

I cant tell you the technical reasons I dont know what do what. All I can tell you is that I have been in austin for 3 year's all my boyfriends have been in bands so i have been in the studio all the time when they are doing mixdowns mastering & recording so i know good sound quality. I also have a Apple iPod G3, creative zen & Yes even a MEIZU M6 its a good player.

I had this player for a month so with out all the technical stuff or spec's in real life it sounds alot better to me. you may not like it you may love your meizu to much some people love there ipods to much. like my boyfriends sister she will not even try another mp3 player so nothing will ever sound better to her. One last thing it sounds good when i work out, jogging, walking, on brake at work at OLD NAVY, in bed well to me it just better.

Sorry if that make you mad

Actually I had sex last night and it was really good.

I'm glad you like the T50; this could be the Teclast I've been waiting for. The only reason I replied is when you post on forums dedicated to music players, saying "I like it" and "it sounds a lot better to me" makes people wonder: Why? You don't have to be an engineer or run tests, just give some opinions about the sounds you're hearing. It's a brand-new player with some new features (for Teclast, at least) and people are going to be interested in talking about it. That's what makes for a good discussion forum, after all.

You should also know that A) many people here on the forums aren't in the U.S. and B) these kinds of forums are frequently spammed by resellers and distributors of electronics, so when you post links to companies, it's good etiquette to add an explicit reason or recommendation why you are linking to them.

Anyway, that's really all I was curious about...not about your T-shirt.

Hmm i am just a bit suspicious as none of the Teclast players i have heared myself or read about came close to the M6 when it comes to sound quality....
The T29 was supposed to have great sound but compared to the M6 it was flat and tinny...

anyway...not saying this is not a good player. Just that id like to read some reviews from people like Daharder or some other mp3 fanatic

Yeah Job, same here. Seeing your name, I assume you are Dutch? I now own a Meizu M6, and I'm considering to buy this particular player. The only drawback might be the bad audioquality, comared to the Meizu. Teclast doesn't have a very good name, do they?

Teclast as a chinese manfacturer did have a good name, but at the end of the day all they do is buy players of a design house factory etc hence the reason you will see so many "clones" or more so re-brands, cos they come from same place

i will say though the the rockchip players with PlayFX are very good indeed in sound quality, ezpecially the pure bass. Build quality will never be as goos as M6 though

This player has a wolfson audio chip which some people find enhances sound qualitym as does the M6 now

i now have M6 SL i used to have SP.
SP quality on sound was WAY WAY better than the SL, the SL has wolfson audio, same as this player and with PlayFX some people will claim it better then M^

i think now that M6 only just hang on to its sound crown, but the change in SL to wolfson is a downgrade to me, still good, but the SP was better all round

Some good points. I would really like to see a comparison test of all the WM8987 players...and there are a lot to compare Maybe a Wolfson super smackdown between Meizu, Teclast, Oppo, Newman, and SmartQ. Of course, you'd also be dealing with Rockchip, ADI and Samsung main processors, but it would still be intersting to see who can get the most audio goodness out of similar setups.
