Apparently out of nowhere, Teclast has popped a new player onto their product pages:

Obviously it's supposed to be a "sports" model...could be kinda cool if that black body is rubberized. The SigmaTel 3500-series chip is also a bit of a surprise. Not the latest or greatest...actually a sort of nostalgia, going back a few years when 3500 players were more common (like early Meizus). With RAmos and now Teclast, SigmaTel seems to be making a comeback on the Chinese market. Horrendously limited codec support, so you have to ask the same old question: Do we really need yet another cheap, crippled, low capacity player?
Even though it's featured on the main pages, not sure if it's been released. The renderings vs. actual photos make me think the answer is "not quite yet".
