Teclast M30 Official

Here it is:

Teclast M30

As advertised: 2.8" AMOLED + Rockchip 2706 + Wolfson 8987G.

From Taobao, looks like MSRP in China is 499 RMB/2GB & 599 RMB/4GB.

Typical weekend release...not sure which cities will see it tomorrow and Sunday, but no doubt there will be promotional activities at whichever electronics malls get them first.

Nice find! But the player is still ugly as ever IMHO.

Good hardware though.

I can imagine that the strange long cross of lights which are the controls of the player acts similar to Meizu M6.

This AMOLED seems to be a expensive material but more effective than LCD and I've read that is intended to be use in big TV to be offered to public in a couple of years.

There is no player in the market yet with such screen?

My main problem with this player is the GUI - too colorful and too messy. Knowing Teclast, the screens beyond the main menu will be mighty ugly. Control scheme wouldn't be very nice either. It will look nice and stand out, as per normal of Teclast products.

Personally, I'm more interested in the M25...

iRiver Clix2, probably with a screen from Samsung. From a quick Google search, I guess this company supplies the screen for the Teclast:

Chi Mei

Could be. The new Rockchip hasn't been out that long, so it's possible the menus will more look like the UI on the RAmos RM970...pretty bad, in other words.

I'm hoping to take a look at one tomorrow, although where I live it seems to takes longer for the new stuff to come in. It's also snowing, which doesn't make me want to run out shopping

The overall build reminds of C290 though, I wonder if it uses the same frame.

All these new Teclasts coming out, none can beat my old T29. I miss it.

T39 beats it. Better sound, display, GUI, battery. IMO

T29 and T39 are my fav Teclast players.
