We expect that this new Teclast (M line) are better machine, and we don't have any reason to doubt it... Teclast do good software, I own a TL-C260 and I think that is the best Rockchip of its range (2.4" screen size).

But while we don't see it in action it will be just a wish... but Rockchip RK2706 is going into a more sophisticated arena... similar to Meizu or Cowon (or why not? ATJ-2135) machines that I do know... and I'm really impressed of the amount of complaints this machines receive... most of them due to users doesn't learn how to take the most of this more complex devices.

In this point the overrated iPod stuff is an example on how things have to be done with limited users: not so much features fully controlled thru iTunes. I have to recognize that the mix of iTunes and iPod solve two big problem of Chinese MP4 players: tag managing and video conversion.

This is the scenario where RK2706 is going into: tag managing... because video conversion is a eternal problem for limited users of Chinese players.

I agree with you,we(as Pasen ) skipped it.
First it's over priced, just because of that AMOLED screen.
Second the battery is just 500mah,because they wanted to slim it so much there was no space.Ok the amoled is less power hungry than tft,but i guess
it will not even reach 8 hours of music playback.
Definitively a failure from teclast this time.
Third,the interface seem kinda lame.

Btw,the rm970 IS a rockchip,not a arm7,and no it doesn't have any emulator.
Where have you read it?

So as a reseller, do you already have pricing for the M30...can you share?

In lots of publications found in Google "+ramos +rm970" (over 20 in several languages) that talk of RM970 with NES support. here is an example:
Ramos tries classing it up with the RM970 PMP - Engadget
2dayBlog - Technology Journal, New Gadget everyday! » RAmos RM970 PMP

Anyway we both are saying the same thing according to this:

Here’s the RAmos new announced RM970 portable media player. It is 2GB device that comes with a 3-inch display with 480 x 272 resolutions, a 200MHz ARM7 processor with a 200MHz Rockchips DSP, and an iPod-type split-screen menu system. The equipped dual 200MHz chips support MP3, WAV, WMA, Ogg, FLAC, AAC, APE, MPEG4, Real, AVI and NES emulation. The RAmos RM970 is available now in Asian markets. No words on the pricing and availability.

Indeed I don't want to argue about this topic... NES support it's just strange for me in a Rockchip chip... maybe it's a new feature

There is a lot of wrong information on these news.It all started from pmptoday, that too often post wrong news...
The rockchip itself is a chip based on arm cpu like you say.Even the old rk2608 could handle emulation if they did develop it,but rockchip players lack of any development, maybe the firmware is just too hard to develop(the old saying "power is nothing without control" hehe).
I think rockchip really missed the point this time, and will slowly lose his market now.
The new market will be dominated by the Ingenic chips and i think also by the new wince 6 devices, with iriver launching so many wince devices, meizu with m8 and probably m7(after they gained knowledge of wince, they'll surely don't waste it)and the easyness of developing anything for windows. The other smaller company will only follow seeing the success of the big.
