▄▀▄ Teclast T59 ▄▀▄ [Coming Soon???] ▄▀▄

My Sources For The Little Info I Found On This & Pics:

I want this Teclast T59 so bad. I don't know what it will fully do when it comes out, but it looks incredible. This is the sexiest device I've ever seen in my entire life! & no it does not look like a damn I Phone. Apple's not the only one making full screen devices. The best thing I like about the device is the equalizer that's below the plastic over the top of the screen. I think it gives it some character and sleek tech savvy look. Anyone please let us know when it's coming out and if it's done [ie: if it's already made... though just sitting on the assembly line].

RESELLERS OR INSIDE SOURCES PLEASE TELL US WHEN THIS IS COMING OUT FOR SALE? THIS HAS TO BE THEIR BEST TECLAST INVENTION YET!!!!!!!!!!

GO TECLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S THE BEST LOOKING DEVICE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! I JUST WISH I KNEW CHINESE SO I COULD READ WHAT ALL OF THAT SAYS.

I've done a bit of googling and found this statement:

Quote:
3.5-inch display (VGA)
3G
Wi-Fi & GPS
OS: Windows CE

What? ?
The T59 is 100% concept renderings at this point. As far as we can tell, they haven't even built a mock-up for beautiful models to pretend to be talking to us on yet. So until we see it...let's just say we've been hurt before, ok?
But!
The largest model (as in product, not the hot model mentioned above) is said to hold a massive 16GB of music and videos, which is double that of Apple's phone and bigger than any company's options on this list. But more importantly, it sports an FM radio!

So what we have here is Telcast's shiny new mobile, the T59. It has a nice 3.5-inch screen, runs Windows CE, and can do everything else that all these fancy new phones can do. Add to that Wi-Fi and built-in GPS, and you got yourself a pretty nice mobile. The question is, will it follow in the footsteps of others or pave it's own path. I'm hoping for the latter. – Louis Ramirez

It's gettin much attention on the net and being put in side by side with other contenders. Public response is that it's the best looking out of all. Still not exactly sure what it is. But everyone loves the look!

The Teclast T59 is another aesthetically-appealing iPhone clone. Since the T59 is only in its concept stages, a lot could change still, but here are some of the specs for this 3G mobile phone:

* Windows CE
* Built-in GPS
* WiFi
* VGA screen w/ secondary display
* FM radio
* Photo/video/MP3 compatibility

The T59’s got a sleek black finish with a chrome lining like the iPhone’s.

Meizu, LG, Samsung, and Telcast. What do all four have in common other than being manufacturers of mp3 players and originating from Asia (China and Korea; go Korea!!)?... Yes- you guessed; all evolutionaries of the the "r"-evolutionary iPhone from Apple. This latest gadget from Teclast titled the "T59" has me drooling with the secondary lcd in addition to a VGA touchscreen, GPS, WiFi, 3G, FM radio, in addition to being a Windows CE-based device probably running WM6 with support for mpeg2 and mpeg4. As for now, a due diligence check on their website has no credible statement regarding this phone; this is probably a well photo-shopped pic and/or a concept phone (I especially like how the equalizer bars are the same in each shot!!), but if anyone caught wind of it, you can say that you were one of the first from this site!

I have no idea... Maybe the resellers and official Teclast sellers can come up with a ballpark figure according to what they see would possibly be used for hardware from these pics I posted. I know a lot of the resellers and official sellers are members here on the site so your guess is better than mine.

My guess... Around $200 or under $300. Remember Teclast doesn't sell high priced gadgets so I hope it's cheap. If it is really going to be a phone too it will be my one and only treasure. People will freak out when I pull it out of my pocket. If sold as a phone too it would have to be sold unlocked so we could all enjoy it in various global regions on different signals and phone carriers/companies. I hope they also add many functions like theme control and library control. My guess is this is their secret weapon and what they have been working so hard for all this time since releasing their first product which I believe was the T29.

@ TONEONER:

What do you think of it my friend? I sure do hope it comes out before 2008. Otherwise this is a big tease!

Well this T59 "prototype"...

http://www.engadget.com/2007/02/17/t...uely-familiar/

...is now being shown by French company Neo as a future model:

http://www.neo-europe.com/2007/fr/in...aladeurs&ID=12

Neo already re-badges many Teclast models, so it seems a safe bet that this is a new Teclast model.
