| Breaking News:
A graphic designer named "Coolqyl203" designed all of the Teclast T59 pictures. I assume they were officially designed from scratch for Teclast or the actual product was used by him in photos for them to create an advertisement. I am currently in contact with someone that knows him and trying to get any news I can about the truth and if or when it will be released.
The designer also actually creates themes for many players. You can google his name and find a lot of his work.
Note: Google his name in capitals or low caps

| More words according to our member "skysports' who is an official reseller of Teclast products [his store www.futuredaps.com]: Quote:
As for the T59, I will not order any until I am sure that the players are functioning 100% and there is nothing fishy going on. The first seller that had the C260 had all the problems, not me. I was one of the first sellers to get the T39, and now I had all the problems. See a pattern here? No. I will sit around and watch the other sellers for a while when the T59 is first released. See how the players are doing..... Then I will place an order. Same goes for the C290.
I wish all the sellers the best of luck on all the new product sales they will be getting instead of me, but I am not taking any chances this time.
The seller that is first to market a new teclast may:
1. get a funny player that is different in some way
2. lose customers after they realize what has happened to them
3. look like a stupid person, and lose sales
Sorry....

Hello,
I heard a rumor from a very reliable source that The IFA 2007 trade fair in Berlin will have a prototype T59 on display. IFA starts on Aug 31st.
Head to <Hall 3.1> This is where the Chinese Companies are located. Stand 126 may be a good first stop. Halle 3.1 - Stand 126.

| I'm pretty sure it will be quad band if it ends up also having the "phone" function. Why? Because people travel with their phones around the world and like to use "roaming" features so they can answer calls in other countries that use other signals. But it would also have to be sold as an "unlocked" phone for our uses in the western world and beyond.

| Remember the huge advertisment on the first post of this thread that is all in chinese?
Well lattesurf from www.mympxplayer.org has translated it for us all to read! Thanks lattesurf for your time and effort!
Here are his exact words: Quote:
Ok i shall make myself useful and translate as accurate and as much as i can. Yeap, this is just an artiste's concept, not really an official release.

Translation
Description:
T59 would be Teclast's main product for 2007. The main design would be based on the current trends, and dimensions of about 112x61x11mm.
Black casing with chrome finishing, simple yet elegant.
The face of the T59 would use the black surface material similar to the z610i (is this the ericsson model?), giving a smooth glossy effect. The screen would be a 3.5" VGA.
Specifications:
Main screen: 3.5" VGA screen
Side screen: Blue equalizer
Processor: Telechips or Philips
Supported music: MP3, OGG, AAC, WAV, APE, FLAC, WMA
Sound Effects: BBE, SRS 2.0
Supported videos: 3GP, RM, RMVB, MPEG2, MPEG4 (DivX/XviD/3ivx, MP4, AVC/H264), VOB, at 30fps and above
Operating system/firmware: Windows CE
Other features: FM, GPS, WIFI, QQ, MSN, rotating carousel menu
Capacity: 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, all internal
Further descriptions:
The T59 would be using the Windows CE OS, so updating of firmware would be easy. At the same time, various Windows documents could be viewed by the T59. With the GPS, the T59 would be able to give you directions when you are outside. With WIFI, you can easily surf the internet, MSN, QQ, whenever there is a wireless connection available. Simply to say, the T59 becomes a PDA.
The small blue screen would be a unique feature of the T59. It would display the current mode the player is in. The real-time equalizer would move in beat with the MP3, FM, or Video sounds.
It is also a clock, with an alarm.
When in the FM mode, the main screen turns off and only the blue side screen comes on with the station frequency. This helps to save lots of battery power.
Additional features:
Auto rotation as you tilt the player, so that the screen displays the screen in the correct landscape or portrait mode.
End of translation

| Oh my God! For the n-th time, these are only fan pictures and fantasy specs and do not represent what the final product will be like.
Also, please never reply to yourself like this again. This makes the forum very cluttered and hard to use. There is an edit button. Use it.
