"Dexter seasons 1-4 dvd box set" never disappoints! As a big fan of the show, I was concerned how Dexter seasons dvd box set Season 3 would play out now that one of my favorite characters, James Doakes, is out of the picture. I never should have worried, because the third season of "Dexter seasons 1-4 dvd box set" was just as fabulous as the first two. This season mainly focuses on Dexter's (Michael C. Hall) personal relationships. He's working through some major issues with his deceased father, Harry (James Remar), and his relationship with Rita (Julie Benz) takes a surprising turn when she announces that she's pregnant with Dexter's child. All of these emotions cause Dexter to turn to an unlikely person...Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado (Jimmy Smits), who takes a liking to Dexter seasons 1-4 dvd and makes it his personal mission to become Dexter's BFF. No one is more surprised by this than Dexter, who discovers that he has more in common with Miguel than he possibly imagined. For the first time in his life, Dexter seasons 1-4 has a friend whom he can rely on and share (some) of his dirty little secrets with. After a while, however, Dexter realizes that there's much more to Miguel than he originally thought, and decides that the ADA may not be BFF material after all.
David Oyelowo is sadly given less emphasis in MI5(Spooks) Seasons 1-8 DVD Boxset, but Peter Firth remains great as head spook Harry Pearce, and the loss of Jenny Agutter was really no big deal, the role of Tessa being too one-dimensional to be interesting MI5(Spooks) 1-8 DVD. The "older woman" role is filled by new addition Nicola Walker, whose energy fits the cast much better. Also new to the cast is Shauna Macdonald, a vibrant young Scottish actress who walks off with some of the funniest moments in the show. This sense of humour continues to carve MI-5 an identity distinct from that of the American spy show, 24, despite the similarities. In Series 2, MI5(Spooks) Seasons 1-8 further indulges in its unique strengths: Since this show doesn't shy away from using real names, real countries and real causes (nothing like 24 Season 2's "these three Arab countries" device here), this lends MI-5 a huge degree of verisimilitude which serves to make us even more on edge. Let's face MI5(Spooks) 1-8, it's much more engaging, and liberating, to be able to hear "Libya" or "President Bush and Tony Blair" on the show than vague references to "Arab countries" and "the Prime Minister and the Ambassador". I suppose American MI5(Spooks) Seasons DVD Box set doesn't trust the audience to be willing to accept the idea of using real names in fiction, so when MI5(Spooks) Seasons DVD Box set throws you an episode where the Prime Minister and the royal family of Britain are all presumed dead, MI5(Spooks) dvd's exhilarating to watch.
