i downloaded the firmware update from the teclast and now some red screen pop up with some chinese letters and i cant turn it off

before when i update everything was in chinese is there a way to it back to english?

I think thats just the initial screen check. Look closely if there is a small cross at the top left of the screen. If there is, press it, then one should pop up on top right, then botom right, then botom left. This was added to the newer firmwares for more accurate touch screen displays. If the cross isnt there, the may need to force shutdown (small button beneath headphone jack) and reinstall firmware.

ok i did but why is my icon names is in chinese is there way to turn the text to english

The default language is Chinese, it switches to it after every firmware update. To change it to english, go to settings (bottom right picture on main screen), click the first of the options that pop up, then the first again, now a small box with 2 arrows and words in the middle should pop up. Repeatedly press any arrow untill the words, in english, say english. now tap anywhere other then the box to make it go away. You are now set to english, enjoy.
