I still say the hardware design is poor... I can only compare to my iAudio F1. That never snaps, crackles, or pops, and drives my big Sennheiser headphones very loud without distortion, even with the bass settings at maximum. Try that with my T39 and it sounds awful.
I guess my real problem right now is with the firmware. It's ugly, buggy, and they haven't really added anything new in the year since launch. Maybe the chinese don't understand the concept of customer/brand loyalty and word-of-mouth marketing... But this is so important with these products!!!
Sell good products, support them well, and customers will tell everyone they know and buy your products again and again... Rush products to market without testing and don't support them, and customer will never buy from you again and tell everyone about the bad experience.
After my good experience I really wanted to buy a iAudio D2, but it was sold out everywhere and I needed a player fast so I risked buying the cheap copy (I won't make the same mistake again). My friend wanted a similar player and asked me if mine was any good... Of course I said no, so that's one customer lost, thanks to me

Guess what, he went with iRiver based on reviews and previous experience of their players.
