Now eBuyer in the UK have started selling what looks and sounds like a Rockchip version of the T39... They're calling it the "Stage Touch T416C":

this does seem like the rock chip version but it has a smaller built in battery. standard t39 comes with 1000mah, this one has 750mah. and for people like me who don't want to disassemble their t39, that could mean less battery life. I'm fine with my player though, i don't think ill be getting this one, not even for comparing.
