What the heck? I tried it out and it doesn't play FLV files. I downloaded a file from youtube and changed the file exctension to .FLV but I still get a "file unsupported". Don't tell me that you have to convert the FLV vids? Then whats the point?

Are you sure you took it from youtube.
There is 2 type of flv,the older using the codec from sorenson spark and the newer using the vp6 codec.
The mp4 now can only read the older type.

Yeah I downloaded 3 videos from youtube in FLV format.

Anyway, I'm back to the official firmware as it seems to be a lot more stable.

So? It's about 4 months since the last really improved firmware was released...

They used to be doing new versions every month but it looks like they've given up!
