Teclast T39 Video Coverter Help

Thanks to Skysports for the fast shipment of my Teclast T39. So far I am having a very pleasant experience with the sound quality. Now for my problem.

I tried to convert video using the supplied AVICH software. After installing and running it, I found out that the software menu and screen are in Chinese characters. I do not understand a single word.

Would anybody please point me to where I can download an english version of the video converter software?

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Minusflo

Smile Video Format of T39

Minusflo,

Glad you like the T39. The good news is, you can chuck that video converter in the garbage. The T39 is the most forgiving of all the Teclast players when it comes to video.

Simply use your video converter of choice and use these settings:

Video: XVID 320X240
Audio: MP3 128k

It might be wise to start off with only 22 fps for video, and use LAME MP3 encoder for audio, but I don't even think this is necessary.

Windows Media Videos

No, I have never experimented with this yet.

I would probably start off with a 320X240 WMV and give it a go....

Thans a lot domzz and skysports.

Skysports - have you seen the improved website of Jarmarc (JTC Trading)? Looks very organized and user friendly. Another that I noticed is that it has a Technical Download section for latest firmwares and applicable softwares. I hope you can do the same with your website so there is one place to go to for software/firmware upgrades.

Boy, skyports and jarmarc keep improving their already superior service. All the better for us the customers. More power!

Regards,

hey, read above, and if you still don't know what to do, u just have to convert the video into xvid (avi) in 320 by 240 size. i use 3gp converter (set to general: avi, mpeg 4 general setting) and just drag and drop the finished video to my t39 (the finished video is not the original, it will apear werever u set the destination folder to)
