The Player itself is very nice...

The internal speaker is of dubious use though... about on par with most cell-phone speakers.

It does give the player a nice bit of Design Flare, and adds to the !WOW! Factor when showing it to people... LOL!

Perhaps the integrated speaker is on the player as a STYLISH aspect. Or even so as to hold it near your ear, simulating that you are holding a phone! Style man!

Actually, I've been using it leaning against my monitor at work, and it's been a pleasant little addition to the office...

Everyone seems to love it, and many even like the way the external speaker sounds, because it's just loud/clear enough to provide a bit of 'background' music, but not intrusive at all.
