Hi. I bought a T39 last week in China. I specifically bought this piece because I wanted to record FM Radio. When I came back to India and started tuning the FM radio stations on the player I am unable to tune any station. Even the auto search function doesn't seem to be working. I thought FM station frequencies are pretty standardised worldwide but there seems to be some problem here. Could someone help with this issue or does the T39's FM radio work only in China, Japan, USA and Europe? Thanks.

you have to check in your options if your radio is set to receive all the radio stations, check under setting for Freq. Band. and choose Usa (Europe). It should work like that.
Also, the earphones are like the antenna for the radio function, the original earphones are not so good to hear the radio stations in some countries but you can try using another earphones with a different cable, that worked for me.
Remember, you need to have your earphones plugged on the player to use the radio function. Let us know if you solved your problem.

It would appear that they use the same freq's in India that they do in the US.
