Bad Files (can't delete)

ok, so i was transfering across a 157MB .wav file onto my T29 from a linux box (Kubuntu - Dapper release), and it appears something went wrong in the process. instead of the .wav file, there is a directory full of files with garbled names (meta-characters, ect), and i'm unable to delete/move/rename the bad files at all. i even attampted to delete them by using their inode numbers via my linux box.

so, my uber linux geeks skills can't seem to solve this, next step would be to reformat the flash drive.. anyone do this yet? will a reformat of the drive brick the T29? anyone got any other approaches to delete these bad files? they are eatting up a precious ~200MB on this 4GB T29..

Re: Bad Files (can't delete)

ok fixed my issue.

a simple DOS-based " chkdsk /f " converted the bad directory of files into a flatfile easily removed. i should have tried that first.
