Hi, i've got a T29 clone. It looks exactly like a T29 (all the buttons in place) but it has a Rockchip interface and no radio in the main menu. Is there a Teclast firmware that will work for this player? Maybe I can gain a better interface and FM radio by upgrading (if the hardware is indentical).

The "real" T29 does not have rockchip, therefor the official firmware wont work and will most likely brick your player. I doubt that theres a radio chip if they didnt include the radio function in its firmware.

there is no "real" version of the t29 because tecvlast doesnt make it it is just a rebrand version and what color it the little ring if its red its a rebrand t29 and if its blue it is a rebrand c220

I am willing to bet that you can load the offical C220 firmware from the Teclast website on your player.
There is such a thing as a Teclast C220. Check your system menu and see what the firmware says (could be a C210)
