well, they dont read eBook formats, only TXT files. So just convert whatever ebook you have to a TXT file and there you go.

So what does the icon ebook mean?
http://www.teclast.com/t29/
What if I convert my ebook ( pdf format) to document files (.doc format), is it possible for the player to display the content of the book? Because I'm afraid if I convert it to txt files, they aren't display clearly on the screen. What am I supposed to format (adjust) the txt files ( font, font size, etc...) so that i can be displayed clearly on the screen. Moreover, most of my books are in English. So.... what do you think????

And about the dictionary, is it the English_Chinese dic or English-English dic? Because I can't speak and read Chinese so is there anyway to make this feature useful for me as well as others who aren't Chinese?

One last thing, what should I go for, T29, C260 or C280????

I'm so grateful for your great help!!! Thanks alot

SO far I have only got the eBook function to display .txt files. I have the T39, but have heard they all only open .txt files. They can only be opened in one style, meaning the font size, font, and such dont matter. All it takes into consideration is breaks and spaces. Its mainly just a no frills way to read a book. I know Adobe lets you save a pdf file as a text file, and it saves the line brakes and such for you, and doesn't look so bad on the teclast. Only problem I have had was some characters not displaying (such as "). It displays the text in the character you have set (like if you have the player set in English).

And I have never used the dictionary function, so have no clue about that.
