Look no further than the Crossroads MylarOne or MylarThree...

They retail for (roughly) US 39.00 and 57.00 respectively, and sound better than most IEM units costing many times more.

With the risk of going off topic, I just have to say that I've ordered a Crossroads MylarOne X3 (Why do people call it MylarThree?), and I hope it will live up to my high expectations.

i feel pity for you because my teclast tl-t29 4gb with firmware v1.07 thanks to this forum rocks my jock maybe you need to give the http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/he...c12/index.html Audio-Technica M30 a try. these little honeys make me feel like i was clubbing all night with songs like Pebbles - Giving You The Benefit.
I encode cda to flac for archival and then use flac to input into http://rarewares.poskolio.com/oggdro....9-aoTuVr1.zip oggdropXPd which is tuned for whatever that means for now. when you run oggdropxpd set encoding options "Use Quality Mode by selection of Approximate Bitrate" then set "Approx. Bitrate" to 224kbps this allows any variations that are in the audio sample to set the bitrate on the fly the result will be a disc for example to show different bitrate settings per file rather than a constrictive constant bitrate which i believe is more accurate. maybe you've blown your hearing i would have that checked out if were you. no offense to you but i've been around enough people to know by now that some people really do not know sound quality for example one site i was on stated that apple uses a wolfson processor but i think something else is going on because i've tried my friends ifodder and the music clips(distorts) at above moderate volume. i am sleepy i'll continue this later until then Blow Daddy! Rick James - Super Freaak! abSouLutely SoniC Sauce )

^ As we all are, YOU TOO are entitled to YOUR OPINION, but you should seriously consider refraining from the personal attacks etc. when addressing individuals YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!

The ONLY ONE for whom anyone should feel PITY is YOU with your hostile/nonsensical/immature RABID FAN-BOY (run-on sentence) ramblings.

If you love the sound quality so much, WRITE YOUR OWN REVIEW!

I am now using Headroom's Total Airhead portable headphone amp($99 if on special discount/or $149.00 reg.) with a pair of Sony's MDR-V600 ($85), I am satisfied with the sound, with this setup ,I like the 'soundstage' under the normal setting for rock music , at least for the price its better than Cowon.

Just one word of caution don't have subfolders within a music folder in the
MPE folder, the Teclast will shut down.

Wonder if anyone knows if Teclast is planning to include the AAC format?

I agree with Daharder
i also found the sound quality of the T29 disappointing.
while it might not have the hiss of the M6 the sound quality come nowhere near and sounds flat

That plus the terrible GUI ticket me off in both the T29 and the C280...

Also, please note that just a sound chip doesnt mean good sound quality
there are more factors influencing the sound and the T29 doesnt get them right
