if i take the firmware out. and it ask you to put firmware on it it would stay there on until the battery dies. thats how i know it's some kind of software problem.

well then I would have to guess that since many chargers charge at different volts, amps, and polarities, you have most likely fried the battery and possibly something else inside.

Angry No Power Response boo hoo sucks

This players power button is a rocker design similar to see:http://zxdz.en.alibaba.com/product/5...er_Switch.html and after occasional use for only 6 months my T29 does the same as yours - it will not turn on! - even though the battery is fully charged because i can see that it is when i connect it to the wall charger or the USB cable to my PC. the players power button began to show its wear by its difficulty to get it to turn on within a roughly two to three week period until now it won't come on at all. i am real disappointed because i absolutely love the sound and volume level and compactness of this device and i can't seem to find any warranty with this device. i purchased this on ebay so i'll see what the shipper can do about this if anyone knows anything i'd appreciate it. this is my second player from them because the first one was whacked which they exchanged or maybe only put new firmware in it and sent the same one back i do not know because i did not think at the time to write the serial down before shipping it back and i normally expect a new one when these problems arise unless otherwise noted which it was not.
