Zazz Music too?

I've just bought myself a Neo Zazz Music. This player is actually a rebranded Teclast T29, just like the Mobiblu d5 by the way. What I would like to know is: is it possible to download t29-software (like firmwire upgrades?) for my Zazz? If so, which software? If not, does anyone know where i can download software for my Zazz? Tnx anyway guys

I don't see why you couldn't update the firmware with the stock, just to be safe I would backup the old firmware files.

you, can't

because the zazz and mobile blu have different chips, hence it's not dual chips. putting offical teclast firmware gives you a open opportunity to fry your zazzy

Yep Zazz also has a dual chip. For those of you who understand french:
http://www.neo-europe.com/2007/fr/in...baladeurs&ID=2

There stands it has a 'biprocesseur' so it's the same player as the t29 i think . Also: if you go to FAQ on this website (right uppercorner ) and choose 'Procédure & Firmwares' you get a RAR-file. Inside the RAR-file you find
2 important pieces of software: TL_T29RS.BIN and TL_T29FW.rom. As you can see, TL_T29 certainly has a link with the Teclast player. However, I wouldnt know what to do with these files. But does the name of these files mean its the same software as used by the Teclast t29? And if so, does the possibility of using de firmware of the t29 (unless these files are no firmware, correct me if i'm wrong) allow me to use other software for the teclast (Like Mediacoder for example) on my Zazz? Tnx guys

I would say: go for it! Just copy the two files into your player and reboot.

With that said, I don't want any responsibility if this bricks your player.

Yeah thats what I got, Bi-Processor.

"The ZAZZ Music player has a bi-processor that improves video-reading capability."

T29 dual chip

Remember, there are only 2 versions of the T29 hardware manufactured.

Version 1: Rockchip version (1 chip only) - not compatible with teclast FW
Version 2: Telechips + Wolfson (2 chip version) - teclast compatible

So I think if it says dual chip anywhere, it is safe to load teclast firmware.

95% of the T29s are version 2.

One way to spot version 1 is a blue screen OS with big icons.
Version 2 always has the red teclast looking screen OS.

Hope this helps
