Convert your videos with MediaCoder

Finally I have found a way to convert videos on the T29; using MediaCoder.

Follow the simple instructions below:
  • Download MediaCoder (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/m...4.exe?download)
  • Install MediaCoder and browse to the directory of where you installed it
  • Download the Teclast T29 preset (see attachment) and extract it in the preset folder
  • Load up MediaCoder, load the preset, load the file(s) you want to convert and hit "Start"
  • Done!

The player supports XviD video at 220x176 pixels. The audio must be PCM (WAV) for it to work.
Attached Files
File Type: rar MC-Teclast-T29-Preset[Teclasters.com].rar (2.3 KB, 118 views)

Re: Convert your videos with MediaCoder

thats too bad....

Why does the Mediacoder turn my 233MB Family Guy episode into a 100MB file for the Teclast?
With the small screen and low resolution shouldnt the files be less then half that size?(about 40 MB or so)?

am i doing anything wrong?

No, I think if your watching cartoons, you can afford to turn down the quality of the audio in MediaCoder. Try that.

Re: Convert your videos with MediaCoder

yep but that still doesnt make the file much smaller...
why does it use WAV for the sound?
Wouldnt MP# or something be handier?

100MB per ep compared to 50MB per episode for the Meizu is a big diffrence for a player with just 4 GB

Since the Teclast has a small screen with resolution the files should be smaller than the meizus files im I am correct. If this huge diffrnece is caused just by the audio(WAV nstead of a compressed filetype) I hope they change that in furture firmware
