Firmware 2.15 for RM970

Hi,
I see there is new firmware for the RM970. Anyone tried it?

Just ordered mine yesterday so I'm hoping they will continue the updates.

dont use it

it is not finished and full of bugs

english not completed
corruption when playing vids
buttons messed up
delete function not working

it is basically a complete mess, a beta that should never have been released

best wait till the next verison

but there is now a 2.20 version that is ok

but still a few bugs, but they are mainly cosmetic, so it now has..

video resume play feature
stretch movie to full screen

I'm running 2.20 now. Seems just fine so far after a short time of use. Hope they keep the firmware updates coming. Impressive player.

Just need to figure out the resume feature.

Very nice screen, btw. Interface could be more friendly though. Size is perfect!

Hve ou visited mp4nation.net forums yet

on there we have found out how to change the interface imaes and customise the way it looks

also a small bug, do not set the autoshutdown time on the player as this does not work properly. When playing music and shutdown time is set the player shuts down regardless!!!

the link below is a tutorial i made to change the players images adn give it a whole new look

MP4 Nation Forum • View topic - Modding Tutorial - Skinning the RM970 (RK2706 based player)

also if you venture over to the link below and create an account there has been quite a few "skins" made using these tools

thanks for the links!

Wonder when the next FW version will come out.

I notice that the player defaults back to chinese once and a while. Otherwise great divx player.
