Maybe that is the reason .I think you are trying to downgrade it.
Why you want to put the 1.0 firmware?i am sure your shipped at least with 1.01 or 1.02,or at most 1.0,so it's only normal it won't allow you to do it.The last is 1.21 or 1.22 i don't remember.

What else can I do ???

Do you have reformatted the disk (fat 32) before the upgrade ?

Do you have reset to factory default (chinese) ?

Please help !
Somebody can answer ? Thank you !

Hi,

this is Limesh Parekh from India, I had purchased onda 989 while my visit to china.

It is a fantastic product.

But then I did something that I think I should not have done.

I upgraded the firmware. Even after the firmware upgrade it was working fine.

but after 2 days and nearly 15 mins of mp3 play, I was not able to start the player.

When I press ON button, it hangs up before showing me the menu. (the animated graphics screen hangs )

Can any body help me

Limesh Parekh
