In download section user can download v00.00.0021 of Onda VX858 firmware. Read Notes of the firmware in there.

This is the long awaited version which implement Microsoft PlayFX in VX858.

I do install this version and takes me three attempts to install it successfully. It must be used Consumer Update (Refresh firmware) v3.1.0.0 as stated by Onda. It must require to format flash during the upgrade process, if this is not required, un-install your CU and reinstall it. If flash is not formatted by CU won't be possible to format it from Windows, it will show a wrong size of flash.

After finished upgrading, at restart of player it will show the message System Initialization to end successfully the process.

I do the process using CU v3.1.2.0 and it didn't works correctly.

I'm in the process of test new features.

PlayFX sound wonderful as expected.
