It should be 320x240 AVI with 20FPS.

It's really hard to understand what you're writing. Please use better English in the future.

What is another good avi converter to use other than aviconverter 3.0 that the unit will read?

You need to adjust the setting to get audio/video sync.

thanks

I'm new on here and have to say that i've had exactly the same problems, and i've tried the 320X240 AVI with 20fps but even this didn't work. Strangely, although movies don't play on the player, I can play them FROM the player onto a computer, so the movie is definitely there. Anyone else getting this problem? Oh and by the way, mine is an unbranded player, but is definitely the same machine.

------------log------------
Given specs:
device= Mercury IXA 209i
resol=220 * 176
Video= Mpeg4 AVI
error='file format error'

Tried ViDrop converter got to through a link found on this site i think.
preset= iOcean 2.0"
Got playback in first attempt.
other optimization settings?=too lazy to check.
btw, hit the input file browse button on ViDrop Converter interface and it wont recognize DAT files. get over that by dragDroppin them in the input file feild.

-----------end-------------
