I'm visiting frequently Onda\BBS looking for news for my Onda VX858.

Lately there are lots of users that are claiming for a new version of VX858 firmware. Onda seems to be really delayed in its releasing. I've read many reasons, but one really scares me:
It's said that the awesome new effect PlayFX of Microsoft have problems running with Wolfson WM8750 DAC.

I've asked in Teclast if PlayFX is running in TL-C280, and I haven had an answer yet.

Is this true ---> PlayFX not compatible with Wolfson DAC?

That's not true.
There is c280 with playfx if i remember well,and they also added playlist(i clearly remember it).
My c290(actually a pasen shakeit) is using wolfson and playfx so it's a complete bullshit.
The problem is that onda seem to have quit support for the 858 and factory has lots of new models to develop like the vx989h and the vx888(whose firmware isn't ready yet),so they are giving priority to these.I think once they'll have free time they'll release another firmware.

It would have been enough to say my Wolfson C290 have PlayFX...
My C260 have it too that's why I want it in my VX858

BTW what its bullshit PlayFX or what people claims if Onda\BBS?

What people say in onda bbs,that it can't support playfx.
It's just some stupid algorithm no hardware involved,so there is no way it can't be added to any rockchip player,at least in any rk2608.

AFIK you C290 is not rockchip and wolfson but telechip and wolfson

I am the distributor for pasen brand and i know my hardware better than every other distributor.
The t39 is telechip plus wolfson,the c290 is rockchip rk2608 plus wolfson. 200% sure of this.

I believe you... now i recall seeing C290 firmware with RKLogoEdit.
