I don't need fancy functions such as touchscreen or camera. I'll just get a quality player with good design, battery life and audio quality. So far ONDA's new releases have been nice, so I'm keeping my eyes open for their next moves.

Nope, not yet. I haven't jailbroken it yet as it doesn't seem so necessary when you can get the most important app (MSN) through the browser (meebo - online web IM for AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk messengers, works kickass). The GUI is still great without a skin.

ipodtouchfans forum have some very nice skins. I might install one later. Not right now tho.

Yeah. The GUI is very cool on music too, and it has good sound. Video is very crisp and sharp and therefor really enjoyable. You can listen to music while chatting on MSN and browsing/doing all other things, it is like a PDA imo. It's very fast and powerful. 600mhz (locked to 400mhz by apple to save battery time) and 128mb ram.

This is the first apple product that I own. I really don't like all the other ipod's. But iPod Touch is just something special. Great software and hardware.
