 |  Mpeg1 videos on c290? Is there any way to play .mpg (mpeg1, vcd, whatever you wanna call it) videos on the c290 without converting them to flash video or avi? Like are there codecs i can install on my dap or something? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!  |

| Hi, I'm glad that you've received the C290 you ordered from DAPSTA. It is impossible for end-users to install codecs on the player. However, Teclast might add support for new codecs as they see fit into new firmware versions. As far as I know, .mpg is a pretty old and bloated format, so don't bet on .mpg support anytime soon. |

| Well i haven't recieved my dap yet.. But it should be in sometime this week.. I was just wanting to know in advance about the mpeg videos.. And thanks for your advice about mpg.. It answered my question very completely.. Also.. I have already started writing a review to post on here about my experience with DAPSTA so far, i will finish it and post it as soon as i recieve my dap (which will be arriving soon ) thanks.. |
