I'm tempted to get it. But the ebay auction says that it has a 12h battery so it will be around 7-8h music I guess, which is not enough for me.

I'll just wait for a review.

It has Rockchip for sure, since the firmware is in .rfw format!

The T39 battery life I still have to test (got it yesterday), however the manual stated you should fully charge it 4x times before you will be able to use the full battery life. The specs anyway always show the theoretical maximum which is highly influenced by music type (MP3, OGG etc), display on/off, brightness, continues play/lots of skipping etc. With everything optimal you reach 40 hrs, otherwise a lot less!
