I tried to open and to make what the boug's link said... but really I' didn't understand anything! I think we really need someone that speaks chinese...

Hi there,

I had to open my player for another reason (low battery). It's quite easy and you won't damage the player if carefully open it by using ONLY YOUR FINGERNAILS !!! Also look here - thanks to the helpers there :

Worked like a charm this way, perhaps it could be good to put this with the 1st post ?

On a side note, I ended up with a chineese mp4 instead of english but whatever :-p
(I used the firmware with an english name of course in the 1.10, but still)

Question

Hello all.

I install the new firmware. All ok but, when I try to put again my music, it appears like not formatted. And when I check it, the flash appears like 772 Mb, not 2 Gb . Why ????

So I reinstall the old firmware and it works ok (2 Gb, no need to format it) ...

Any idea ??

Thanks a lot.

Send a message via MSN to simsandwhich2
When I try to update my MP4 player it just says "versions of Firmware File and Updating tool are not matching".

Does anyone know what it means (and how to fix it)?

Thanks
