Hello,
Question 1: Can i charge my c280 with a phone charger like v3x or i damage the battery?
Question 2: How is the function of the button under the down side of c280, that can slide?

I don't know very well english, i'm italian... sorry...

ps. do you know a guide for c280 in italian or english?

Yes you can yse an external charger, but I don't know what one. I have a 4 cell battery charger that uses a usb cable to charge mine.

The bottom switch is the master on/off switch. Switched to the right the unit is off to the left the unit is on. This works with the soft power on / off button on the top.

Sorry I'm not aware of any user manual in English for the C280. The one came with my 280 is actually the user manual for 260

As to the charger, you should be able to use other USB wall charger, I did. However, I believe the Motorola v3x's charger's connector has one of the data pins (forgot which one, D+ or D-) shorted to VDD (5v) so you can only charge the V3 with the Motorola charger (or an after-market charger has the pin shorted) so I'm sure not whether the v3x charger will confuse the 280's charging circuit or not. In other words, to play it safe you might want to use a generic USB wall charger.

Which characteristics does the charger have to have? voltage, ecc.ecc. do you understand?
