Hi All,

I have been reading all the problems you guys are having and i had them the same problem, crackling sound, memory issues, freezing of touch pads, non responsive touch buttons.

Teclast finally worked on it and this is the latest and best version.

Since the download is slow from there web site i have put it on Rapidshare for you.

um ok, so I installed it, it wiped the drive, now it can't locate anything I copy to it. Did it change the old directory structure? There were no folders placed after the wipe.

you formatted so everything gets erased so copy and paste new firmware to main directory then press reset button and it should say updating

I used the consumer update program to do it- I should still copy the file to the mp3 player? Also, I got music and videos working, but no games

y dont you do it the old fashioned way through the mp3 player

Why does it matter if you update correctly? Because if you don't, your player will DIIIIEEE.

yea so if you do it the old fashioned way you must know how to do it or you have what is called a bricked player
