Games folder Hello,
All I can do is tell you the procedures I use before shipping a C260 or C280 to a customer. My firmware upgrade procedures are the same for both.
1. Keep a copy of all the player folders on the harddrive
2. Copy all the extra games to the Games folder on harddrive
3. Set the player to upgrade firmware mode in the settings menu
4. Now plug in USB cable to player (in update mode - rockchip driver is needed)
5. The computer should ask for the rockchip USB driver to be installed if not already
6. Start Consumer Update, open correct firmware version, Start
7. After update successful, Open windows explorer, click on the player's drive
8. It will tell you to format drive, do a quick format.
9. Unplug player, power on and off for update to take place
10. Plug player back into PC
11. Copy all player folder files back to the player
12. Goto settings, switch the player to the language of choice
If you copied the games to the games folder, they should be in there.
After clicking on the games icon, move the cursor over the games folder, press PLAY, Now you should see the games. Select the game and press play again to start.
This could be the problem you are having. On all other menus of the C260/C280, you have to press "M" to select, but in the games menu, you must press "play" icon. If the games are still not there, plug the C280 into the computer and check the games folder from the computer.
