There's not SD slot in the c280. As for the manual, after a few days with it, you'll learn how everything works granted it may be a little frustrating but time will prevail. You can always refer to the english manual for the c260 found in the forums because it is quite similar.

I understand what you are talking about. Some sellers have modified players that cannot load the official teclast firmware.

If you plan to upgrade the player with Teclast firmware in the future, my suggestion is either to buy the retail chinese teclast version of the player, or buy an overseas version that has been firmware tested with Teclast firmware, to make sure its compatible.

In this case, the seller has already upgraded the player with teclast firmware before you even purchase it and you don't have to take any chances.
