Beside its appearance... C280 has audio decoder Wolfson WM8750 which brings better sound, then C280 is a rockchip device with an audio processor while C260 is pure rockchip...

Anyway C260 have a good sound enhanced lately with Microsoft PlayFX effect.

One question for the community... was added PlayFX to C280?
