No more touchpad after firmware udpate

Hi All,

I'm very pleased to discover this forum.

I own a no name C260 like and after having flashed the player with teclast files (I have tried a lot of them, from v1.08.0012 to the last beta 1.10.0001), it boots correctly only with the CI version, but the touchpad doesn't light anymore

I would be very happy if somebody can help me!
And don't hesitate to ask me anything you may need to know.

Can't read the Touchpad controller name

Hello,

i had a similar problem with my no branded 260. The only fw on which the touchpad works correctly is the version 01.07.1216 (CI).

Hi!

Thank you for your quick reply.
Anyway I've just tested v01.07.1216 (+ one modded) and v01.05.1501 and a lot of other ones with no result.

This means that you never have get to work your player with a Teclast firmware?.

If it so... sorry to say... It's not compatible
I do have another player that never work with Teclast firmware... until I get the one I have now that works perfectly.

Would you post a link of your player to see how it looks not disassembled?

Your meaning is right.
I've tried a lot of teclast FW since yesterday (from the older one I found on the Internet or on this forum till the last beta) and none are working fine with the touchpad.

Here are the links for the global player view:

The difference I see is:
- The speaker... Teclast C260 doesn't have speaker.
- POWER ON/OFF button is not in Teclast C260 in that position... in Teclast C260 it goes where the HOLD button is in your player.
- HOLD and POWER button are just one.

Sorry Tomacelli... your player is not fully Teclast C260 compatible

This is the player I receive first which I bring back due to its bad manufacture... do you have a backup firmware to recover your player?

Thank you for you conformation DaremoS, that's what I thought.

And my bad if never I had a backup firmware, I would never have posted here
But I have another player, the same which is working fine.

As far I know, there is still no FW "extractor" (sorry I' French ) for RockChip IC.
Maybe a day it'll come...
