Hi,

I recently purchased the teclast c260 and tried to play .wma files as well as my .mp3 files. The player is supposed to play these file formats, but I can only get the .mp3 files to play. Is there something I can do to play the windows media files, or did I subscribe to a music downloading site for nothing? This is a great little player, and I'd like to see it work like it's supposed to. Thanks for the forum, I'm new.

Your .wma files are infected with DRM (Digital Rights Management), this severly restricts what you can do with them.
These Teclast players and nearly all other Rockchip players don't support DRM, thats why you can't play the music that you have paid for, in other words you were ripped off.
You will need to use one of the utilities available on the internet to remove the DRM before the C260 can play the files.

Thanks for letting me know. If I take the DRM off, will that be some kind of illegal thing, or is that only if I want to make money off the songs?

there is something called replay music that does that
so since this is a big company im guessing its no illegal
