Does anyone know if the "VE" is a completely different model from the "CI", "NO CI"? Teclast released new firmware for it 8/25 it won't load on a "CI" version, does anyone with a "NO CI" want to give it a try? I believe this is the test version for the PlayFX.

They have also released an update to the consumer update program (Firmware Updater) ver 2.8.1

I came across those too on Teclast's FTP (they also have a C290 firmware with a lot nicer theme (use LogoDIY to see ). I think we should mod the C260 and C280 firmwares so they have this nice theme too

C260VE is a new model, it's no radio. TL-C260-VE Firmware only use for C260VE.

Do you have any idea if I can find a firmware to the C260-VE other than the Teclast firmware?

My problem is, I bought a C260-VE and updated it with Teclast firmware and the radio is lost after the update.

Actually the device came with a no-name firmware and it was with radio. Unfortunately this firmware is not in the CD ...

So my conclusion is that the hardware has radio but the firmware enables or disables it.

Now what I need a firmware with Radio enabled ...
