Hold on a sec. That process is for an entirely different player type and flash process, and the only time to try that process is if that type of player is bricked. Trying it may well brick these players. Odds are your going to fry any non Z80 based player if you try that on it. Thats way to drastic at this point even if it could work.

Any suggestions in my problem?. The consumer app tells me that it was a successful update then I immediately unplug the player and turn it on and nothing still just a plain white screen. I never tried to change the firmware or anything for this to have happened it just was like that when I turned it on the other day. I just turned it on 1 day and it doesn't ever load the main screen. It shows up in my pc as a drive and everything. ????? Thanks!.

How long have you had the player?
If you just turned it on one day and it was not working, and you did nothing to cause this then it sounds like you might need to see if your vendor will replace it. Because that sounds like faulty manufacturing to me.

Well I purchased several for resell and before I send them out I test them first and it worked. Then before putting it in the box to ship I turned it on 1 more time to make sure and then the white screen. I do have a lot more of these so is there a tool yet to extract Teclast C260 firmware. Or better yet can someone make an easy step by step guide for the update process. "How to update your C260's Firmware"?. Because I have several Teclast firmwares sitting on my desktop which is Firefox's default placement when downloading things. When I open up the consumer app and choose the firmware I get a successful message and then it didn't work. An yes I'm using CI Firmware because my player has CI on the back of it. Thanks!.

Are you able to access the player menus when hooked up through a USB connection?

No I can not see anything because like I've been saying it is just a blank white screen. It turns on, it turns off, it lights up the buttons when touched, it shows up under mycomputer as f: drive and can access it or make folders. Just doesn't ever load the visuals. No icons or anything just the whole screen is blank and white. It does this when connected to the computer via usb or if not connected to anything.

Ok if you turn the power switch on the bottom off then hook it to a usb port is anything coming up? And are all your players acting this way or just the one?

It connects and shows up like I said it all works normal but as for the picture of the main menu no nothing just the white blank screen. Switch on or off it doesn't make any differences. Just this 1 player is like this all the others work great.

I have the same problem, it happened after upgrading the firmware. All I get is a white screen, mp3 player still works. If I load mp3 files into the player I can play them. Consumer app canīt find Rock USB Device, so I canīt reverse firmware.

It has a Rockchip 2608A - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-4-TFT-iMirro...QQcmdZViewItem

Any ideas??

It may be a bad unit. USB drives working so some of the firmwares functional. About the only things I can think to try as theres no reset on the 260 is to drain the battery and see if a recharge will bring it back up. The other option would be to try to put the unit into flash mode blind, that means going through the same steps as you would on a working unit and then attempting a flash. Id try seeing if it will play any of the music on it before going through that. No telling if the touch interface is even working.
