But Creative Zen can't integrate the music from SD cards in its music lists.
| True, and this caused a bit of a do with creative fans with many of them returning the player bacause of it, but as far as i know none of he chinese players integrate the SD card contents onto the player
the new rk2706 players wong even let you add music on the sd card to the playlist let alone list it in its database, the SD card integration on these players is really poor, apart form the actions 2135 players which at least let you copy from SD to memory, and add to playlists, but that chip died and untimely death - shame |

| Between you lot, there are enough players to open a shop!
So I value your comments. Thanks guys!
Meizu M6 SL got filtered out cos it has no card slot
Creative Zen cant play lossless.
Rockchip (RX 2706) is newer and it has more features.
But , I am only interested in top sound quality.
So how does Rockchip(RX2706) based players compare with Cowon D2 and others?
Has anyone auditioned them?
PS.
Anywhere on the net with more info and comparisons of chips used in players?
Cheers!

| well i wil say this about the new Rockchip player
Their sound quality is excellent, PlayFX sound enhancements are now standard in the rockchip player and its just great, really great, the BASS on he PlayFX is the best i have heard from an mp player, still not quite up to the balanced and crisp sound of the meizu in my opinion, but its damn near close
remember also the some players use additional chips for sound processing, like the meizu, s:flo, and others, chips to look for a Philips and Wolfson (as also used in ipods)
as for comparisons with the cowon i can not do, but maybe DaremoS can cip in here, in fact i am sure he has mentioned this before |

| Reading posts by experienced users indicate that players with Rockchip RK2706 DSP core PLUS Wolfson WM8987 Audio Chip rocks!
But unfortunately I can't find one with also an SD memory card slot.
Does such a beast exist? |

| SmartQ has SD (and only SD no internal memory) all the other with wolfson do not have SD at all, odd that, its like the wolfson has nicked the space usually reserved for the SD card and the fact that the smartQ has no internal memory at all means you lose out on a possible 8GB as it only accepts sd cards and their top is 8GB = catch22 here
apart form the Q i can think of no others at all with SD and wolfson .... do ipods have SD card slots, they use wolfson also??? |

Does such a beast exist? | The Ramos RM965 have SD card, the player of Riolist. Onda VX767 does have SD card too.
Teclast T50 I'm not sure.
Take a look to this post
cheers

-- Ramos RM965/RM970 use Rockchip RK2706, is FLAC/APE capable and has card slots. But no Wolfson WM8987.
-- Teclast T50 aka Nationite S:Flo has Rockchips 2706 + Wolfson WM8987, is FLAC/APE capable. But no Card slots.
May be due to the design limitation that makd511 has sussed out.
SmartQ having no internal memory would have been all right. if only it had two card slots |

| OPPO s9 and s11 are the best sound players among Chinese Mp4 Players at present. Why they can make an excellent sound is as following:
The Best Sound Source: APE\ FLAC audio files have the same quality as CDs do.
The Professional Audio Chip:Wolfson 8987 makes the sound very clear and clean.
The Perfect EQ: DBEE(Dynamic Bass Enhanced Engine created by OPPO company) and PlayFX(Designed by Microsoft Company, has 3 enhancements, 3D Headphone, Pure Bass, Auto Volume)
The Excellent Technique:Pure Audio Design(Created By OPPO Company), reduces the disortion caused by both hardware and software factors.
The Good Earphone:Sennheiser MX400 ,very popular with music fans, provides you with a good sound.
That is why OPPO is better than any other companies such as ONDA, TECLAST etc.The DBEE EQ and PAD technique is OPPO's special feature, which are playing an important role in making sound clear.Other companies have neither of them.Only OPPO can provide you with an Sennheiser MX400 earphone, which can satisfy the majority. While other companies only give you an ordinary one!
So remeber to buy an OPPO mp4 Player Next Time.I'm sure you won't regret!
