I've tried more earphones. Apple Ipod Nano 2nd gen included earbuds, v-moda vibes, sennheiser cx300, Bose triport IE. They all suck in bass compared to my headbanger audio earsubs. The clarity and excellent treble was won by the v-moda vibes. Sennheiser had alot of bass response that leaned toward midbass frequencies. The Bose had alot of midbass and some low bass response. Neither of those had good sounding bass though, the bass was just louder than the mids and highs. The fit of the earphones was all about the same except for the Bose, I had to hold them in my ears for a good seal the included gels did nothing. There is nothing good or bad to say about the Apple earbuds. The sound was flat no matter how much the EQ was boosted. This is all I can think of to say that's right to the point and clearly stated. Anyone else stating their earphone or headphone choice here can they please make a short review of it. |
