| My Teclast M30 review and opinions This is a preliminary review. I just got it yesterday. So far my T29 has better sound enhancements. The playfx just sounds like an eq adjustment(turn on through eq settings and select mseq, playfx menu only selects which enhancement) sounds exactly like what dolby nr was to cassettes. I can't exactly pinpoint what Rockchip does for video. I do notice only very minimal blur to almost none. Color is ok but not that vibrant. Brightness set to max setting of ONE and still not that bright, just ok. I don't see what is so special about this screen and the hype of amoled. This player is rather big, the whole unit is almost the entire size of a psp screen. The player is built well except for the ON switch. You have to have good strong nails to turn on the player. Sound output is rather weak even with EQ tweaks, I am guessing 9mw or less per ear with a volume max setting of 32. T29 is much louder. The user eq controls are set upside down in an unusual way, maybe a firmware bug. The touch control took about 5 minutes to understand. Tap M to select. Hold M for 2 sec to go back. Left and right arrows actually scroll up and down the menus. The play/pause is only active during playback. Screen is fingerprint magnet and shows during playback. Playback is good, there is no frame skip. I just resize video to 320 X 240 and drag to player. A good tip for higher volume is to convert video with +5 db in the sound setting. Forget about the built in radio no matter what I did I could not get one clear station. Sorry I am not into ebook, photo, recording, lyrics, or flac...someone else will have to give that review. My favorite player for music is still MPIO FG200 ONE. But for video I would rank the M30 as my best so far but not stellar. My current earphones are bass freq. |
