Smile Mobiblu Vs Pasen

Very Nice and detailed post,

Here is my best guess about the difference in screen quality.....
I do see a definate difference in the Mobiblu screen. But please remember that the Mobiblu is not built the same as Teclast specifications.... It is the cheaper rockchip T39R version. Nonetheless, it is possible that they ordered the cheaper T39R and then put a fantastic screen on the player from another factory, then made a custom firmware for it. A very good idea.

So much for all of HouseofDap's hot air about the rebrands ALWAYS being worse than the original brand. HaHaHa!!! What say you now Tomas?

Anyway, the Pasen is built to exactly the same specifications as the Wolfson/telechips Teclast T39, which is how the firmware is completely interchangeable between Pasen and Teclast. Unfortuneately, this means the Pasen must take the cloudier Teclast T39 screens as well.

Now all the other Teclasts ONDAs Pasen Itouch (vx858 clone), the screens are spot on (especially C260/C280)! No, the original spec T39s I have sold always have a cloudy screen in my opinion, but this is the trade off for a gen 1 touchscreen. The T39 touchscreen was released months before Apple ONDA and the others..... But it would be nice to pop a Apple Iphone GEN touchscreen on a dual core player, wouldn't it?

This is precisely why the C280 has always been my favorite Teclast player. It has the wolfson dual core sound, with a clear (non touch screen) hi res TFT style display. The only touch portion is on the buttons themselves (but still touch nonetheless), where the touch function is really needed. Once you get used to the heat induction buttons, you learn to love them. I still use my C280 much more often than my M6 SP, collecting dust in the corner.
