You still need to convert down the vids if they are really high res, but you don't need them as low as 320x240 like you needed with the RK2608A chips.
ErrOr i thought you had that new Onda which used the new JZ4740 chip, i've been trying vids on the Ainol V2000SE, which has the same chip and it handles high resolution videos fine. i watched a lot of TV episodes (350mb in xvid format) and they didn't lag.
