Where have you read it?
In lots of publications found in Google "+ramos +rm970" (over 20 in several languages) that talk of RM970 with NES support. here is an example:
Ramos tries classing it up with the RM970 PMP - Engadget
2dayBlog - Technology Journal, New Gadget everyday! » RAmos RM970 PMP

Anyway we both are saying the same thing according to this:

Here’s the RAmos new announced RM970 portable media player. It is 2GB device that comes with a 3-inch display with 480 x 272 resolutions, a 200MHz ARM7 processor with a 200MHz Rockchips DSP, and an iPod-type split-screen menu system. The equipped dual 200MHz chips support MP3, WAV, WMA, Ogg, FLAC, AAC, APE, MPEG4, Real, AVI and NES emulation. The RAmos RM970 is available now in Asian markets. No words on the pricing and availability.

Indeed I don't want to argue about this topic... NES support it's just strange for me in a Rockchip chip... maybe it's a new feature
