Please keep in mind, the Kanon MC-702 (black) and MC-701 (white) are basically the Futuredaps bundled earbuds for the Teclast Players. I am now shipping these as free gifts with every Teclast player. Thats why they happen to be in Black and White... So basically, you are comparing Futuredaps stock earbuds to the Skullcandys.
On the other hand, There is a noticeable jump in sound quality with the Premium Kanon MD-52s, which are only sold seperately. I think it would be better and more fair to compare the Kanon MD-52 to the Skullcandys. They are closer to the same price too.
But I think you are correct about the sensitivity rating making a huge difference in sound quality on these small low output DAPs.
I myself can't beleive how good the 701,702,MD-52 sound with Teclast and Meizu. I am with you 100%.
Also beware of other Kanon models. I have tested almost all of them, and was not that impressed with the other ones (on teclast, onda, meizu).
