I must say I never use playlists. I think that a playlist feature is the most difficult to implement as it involves creating and constantly rewriting some sort of database to the player.
One of the feature I like most about Rockchip is to be able to delete a track from the player, the playlist has to be able to cope with changes like this, which can lead to problems.
What really annoys me is why the firmware developers didn't implement album art, the Rockchip is easily capable of doing this with very little programming effort.
Regarding access to MiniSd and flash, It is a hardware limitation of Rockchip you can only access either internal flash or MiniSd, but not both at the same time sadly,
again difficult for the playlist to cope with.
I like the simple rawness of the Rockchip firmware, I wouldn't like to see MS windows style hourglass on my player and I'm and concerned Rockchip involvement with MS may screw things up.
Then it'll be time to switch to Actions
