Well its not that Ainol is only focusing on the V2000 as they don't actually make the firmware, the guys over at ADI are releasing newer firmware for players that use the BF533 chip. I think the reason why you are not finding newer firmware for the this Action chipset player, is because Action has not released any new one. Many Chinese MP4 Makers (even brand name makers) use the generic firmware given by the chip maker and alter just alter the graphics, they unfortunately are not very innovative and rarely utilize the full potential of the chipset.
