Follow these steps to update the firmware on your ONDA VX858, VX858 LE and/or VX878 player.

Instructions

1. Download the latest ONDA firmware for your player.
2. Download ConsumerUpdate 3.1.0.0 and install it.
3. Extract the ONDA firmware (using WinRAR) you downloaded and load the extracted file using ConsumerUpdate.
4. Turn on your player, press Settings (bottom right square).
5. In the Settings screen, go to Firmware Update (bottom right square again).
6. Connect your ONDA player to your computer via USB.
7. After Windows is ready, press the "Update" button in ConsumerUpdate.
8. The firmware is now upgrading. It may take a while, so do not cancel this proccess.
9. Congratulations, you have now upgraded the firmware.

All files will be erased, so make sure to backup important data prior to upgrading.
