The T39R version of the T39 is the single chip version we are discussing. The info about the telechips and wolfson is a mistake. At least this is the response I got from them. So T39 = telechips + wolfson, T39R = single chip (rockchip only) The T39R is not the Teclast compatible version. Almost all of the blue screen TianJio players are Rockchip only.
The Teclast C220 is a very interesting player because it is the rockchip version of the T29, AND Teclast bought them.

In this one case, Teclast bought both the Wolfson and Rockchip versions of the same model. The advantage of having a C220 over a T29 is the ability to play YouTube videos. Although, I don't see why they can't write new firmware for the T29 to do the same thing.
So the C220 is to the T29, as the T39R is to the T39, if this makes any sense.
